With over 20 years at the company – since he joined in Turkey in 2000 – Sinan Atlig holds the position of President of the Latin America Cluster and leader of the Commercial Organization for Emerging Markets. Sinan Atlig ocupa el cargo de Presidente del Clúster de América Latina y líder de la Organización Comercial para Mercados Emergentes.
Previously, he was the regional president of Latin America, a position he held from December 2023 to December 2024, and before that, he served as President of Vaccines for developed international markets, leading the launch and external commitments in Europe and Asia/Pacific for the Pfizer/BioNTech COVID-19 vaccine, helping to protect millions of lives during the COVID-19 pandemic.
From 2018 to 2020, he was the regional president of Pfizer Biopharma in Africa and the Middle East (AfME), leading commercial operations to bring Pfizer's innovative products to the people who needed them in the areas of Vaccines, Oncology, Rare Diseases, Internal Medicine, Hospitals, and Inflammation/Immunology.
From 2016 to 2017, he was the Leader of Rare Diseases for Emerging Markets, responsible for the product portfolio for Hemophilia, growth disorders, TTR-FAP, Gaucher, transplants, and acromegaly in Latin America, Africa, the Middle East, and Asia Pacific.
In Latin America, from 2014 to 2016, Sinan Atlig was the Leader of Global Innovative Health for the Andean Cluster – composed of Colombia, Ecuador, Peru, and Bolivia – and director of the Specialty and Oncology Business Unit of Pfizer Colombia, from 2012 to 2014.
Atlig holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Koç University and a master’s degree in business administration from Yildiz Technical University, both in Turkey.
