Mariela Formas - Vice-president of the Chamber of Pharmaceutical Innovation
Mariela has a degree in Business Engineering from Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile and an MBA from Simmons College, Boston. She has more than 15 years of experience leading guilds and in general management of national and international companies in different sectors: industrial manufacturing, agriculture and livestock, environmental, telecommunications.
She currently leads the Chamber of Pharmaceutical Innovation, with a focus on collaborative work to improve the health system, strengthen the industry's transparency standards and promote innovation, research and development R&D in Chile.
Mariela has also been a mentor for ComunidadMujer and has promoted gender equality in companies, being CIF part of RedActiva, a community committed to inclusion, she is a columnist for Mercurio, and a mentor for the UC Innovation Center. She is a mother of 3 children and enjoys skiing and reading in her spare time.
